Quiet by default
Peekat shows a count and a short list, and interrupts you only for mail that needs you now: a sign-in code, a person waiting, something you marked as critical.
Stop checking email.
A quiet Gmail notifier for your browser. Peekat tells you about the mail that matters, lets you read and clear it without a Gmail tab, and keeps your mail on your device.
Coming soon for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Free.
Peekat shows a count and a short list, and interrupts you only for mail that needs you now: a sign-in code, a person waiting, something you marked as critical.
Open a message from the toolbar, the side panel or a full page. Mark it read, archive it, or move it to Trash without opening Gmail.
See the unread mail of each Gmail account and its inbox categories, with honest counts that never claim “all clear” when Peekat cannot tell.
Peekat has no server. It talks only to Google, and keeps what it needs in your browser. No account with us, no analytics, no ads.
Peekat works with the Gmail account you choose. When you select Connect Gmail, Google asks you to allow Peekat to read and manage your email. Peekat uses that access only for the features you see in it:
If you skip that step, Peekat can use the Gmail account already signed in to your browser instead, for the same features and under the same rules.
Writing and replying open Gmail’s own compose window; Peekat does not send mail. Everything Peekat reads stays in your browser on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models.
The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Read the full Privacy Policy. You can remove Peekat’s access at any time in your Google Account.
